C4 Expert (C4X)

In the cyber track, C4Xs build strong expertise in security monitoring, cyber incident response, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, malware analysis and cyber forensics. They defend against potential aggressors who use digital tools to weaken our nation. They also conduct cyber threat intelligence operations to detect potential threats to Singapore.

In the digital track, C4Xs cultivate digital competencies ranging from software engineering, data science and artificial intelligence, to cloud architecting. Software are now lines of operations. C4Xs are digital warfighters who conceptualise and develop digital solutions across a full spectrum of operations.

Pay components

Gross Monthly Salary includes:

1. Basic Salary Component: This includes a Monthly Variable Component and is pegged to your rank and grade.

2. Allowances: Skilled-based allowances (where applicable)

   • Market Adjustable Specialisation Component (MASC): MASC is tied to the specialisation and level of expertise of the Military Expert.
